Neika's birthday and "new" carseat

Neika's birthday was in Janurary but I'm finally getting around to putting pictures up. We had family over for cake and icecream. Her cake was supposed to look like one big candle but didn't really turn out. It tasted good though. The bottom layer was chocolate cake, the middle funfetti, and the top was New York Cheesecake. When we took her in for her one year appointment she weighed 20 lbs. 2 oz. and was 29 inches long. She is up to the 50th percentile which is really exciting since at her last appointment she was in the 10th.



Since Neika is one now she got Jag's old carseat. It was just kinda plain and had neutral colors of fabric so I decided to redo the cover on it and make it new for her. We went Hobby Lobby to pick out material and Jag was dressed as a pirate and Titan was in his oriental costume that he thinks is one of the guys on Pirates of the Carribean and they were sword fighting through the store and then Titan insists on picking out the material for her car seat. At least he has good taste. The task of getting the fabric was way harder than it needed to be.
